Women’s Apparel Brand Seeking Regional Outside Sales Representatives
Southwind Apparel is a Women’s Active Leisure and Travel brand, dedicated to helping our customers experience their best living yet. We are fashion that active women can live in, and we believe in making time to enjoy life passions.
We are a women owned and run business, established in 2009, that is excited to expand our distribution into new territories. Our products (Made in America) are designed to be colorful, comfortable, easy to care for and travel with - but, most importantly, they make you look good and feel confident.
We are looking for experienced independent sales reps across multiple regions, who can actively and effectively expand our distribution, selling to specialty retailers, boutiques, and resorts. Ideal candidates would already have working relationships and have experience in attaining sales and distribution goals. Candidates may also carry or work with other non-competing brands.
We are looking for representatives for the following regions:
- NE Region
- Gulf Coast
- Arizona/New Mexico
- Midwest Great Lakes Region
Qualified applicants will have:
- A history of prospecting new accounts, ideally with 3 + years apparel wholesale sales experience
- Experience in a fashion category of accessories, apparel, footwear, or beauty, as a buyer, or sales representative
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to create long lasting business relationships
- Efficiently and effectively manage a large geographic territory and meet sales targets
- Excellent customer service, and enthusiasm for Southwind Apparel’s mission “We live for the hustle of women who work and play, and who empower others to do so”.
- Flexible schedule and ability to travel within region
